The 200-hour yoga teacher training course covers the traditional components of hatha yoga, which are Asana (yoga poses), Pranayama (yogic breathing exercises), Bandhas (yoga energy locks), and Shatkriya (yoga cleansing actions). These components are taught from the perspective of modern values of cultures so that students can not only understand the methodology but also apply the knowledge to benefit themselves and others.

Syllabus
Asana:
Yogic carriages comprise four hours of the daily timetable. Students will be introduced to several asanas in a methodical manner with a progressively growing level of difficulty. Once the basics are grasped, asana flows, adjustments, and subtle aspects of breath and awareness will be brought into focus. This will cover Asana Practice and Methodology.
Pranayama, chanting & meditation:
Students will learn methods to work with vibrant energy centres in the body, with the goal of becoming skilled enough to teach these skills to your students. The course will cover Methodology, Physiology, and a Practicum.
Yoga Anatomy:
Students will learn anatomy and physiology relevant to yoga to prepare for the classroom explanations, indications, and amendments of asanas.
Shatkarma:
These yogic cleansing practices will be combined into the daily morning timetable and will work in combination with the asana practices. This will cover Methodology and Practicum.
Yoga Philosophy:
This class will focus on introducing you to the basic philosophy, ideas, and history of yoga. It will follow various traditional philosophies and perspectives, insights from modern exploration, and ways in which the spirit of this universal life view can be incorporated into a modern lifestyle.
Eligibility for taking this course
- Formal experience is not a prerequisite for enrolling in the 200-hour yoga teacher training. We understand that everyone starts somewhere, and what’s most important is your enthusiasm and commitment to the practice. All students (beginner to expert) can join a 200-hour yoga teacher training program.
- A flexible and injury-free body is NOT required for this training; in fact, WE ENCOURAGE people of different body types and those who can take physical challenges.
- One year of regular yoga practice before starting this course is optional.
Yoga Certification Course- (with Yoga Alliance USA):
How to Register to Yoga Alliance for your certificate:
- Our web portal is accessible globally, so you can book a TTC that suits you best. Then, complete your Yoga Teacher Training course using the respective yoga method.
- After you finish the course, we will provide you with a certificate. After this, log on to www.yogaalliance.org and register as a yoga teacher with Nath Yoga Ashram.
- Provide a scanned copy of your certificate issued by the Institute and wait for us to verify it.
- Nath Yoga Ashram will verify your registration as a trainee at our school.
- Upon completion, you will be a registered yoga teacher with the prestigious Yoga Alliance USA, a recognition of your dedication and skill.
